• Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Listing details (hosts): the address of your spot, photos, size, price and access instructions.
• Booking details (renters): your start date, licence plate number and messages with hosts.
• Payment details: payments and payouts are handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers or bank details on our own servers.
• Technical details: your device, browser, IP address and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar tools.

3. How we use your information

• To create your account and run bookings and payments.
• To show listings on the site and map.
• To contact you about your bookings and account.
• To prevent fraud, keep the site safe and follow the law.
• To improve the site and understand how it is used.

4. Who sees your information

• Other users: a host sees a renter's name and licence plate once a booking is requested. A renter sees a host's exact address and access instructions only after the booking is confirmed. Before that, listings show an approximate location.
• Service providers: companies that help us run the site, such as our web host, payment provider and email service, only for those purposes.
• Authorities: when the law requires it, or to protect people's safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your choices and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may stop working.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for bookings, accounting and legal reasons. We then delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information. No website can be fully secure, so please use a strong password and do not share it.

Rent Your Spot is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
